What is VBS? For one week each summer, our First Baptist Church family joins together to take our kids (entering Kindergarten-completed 5th grade) on the discovery of a lifetime!
Kids will be challenged as they discover that God’s truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love. Adventure awaits each day as kids explore tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock!

Imagine what you could do: Christmas shopping without kids, fellowshipping with Connect Group members, dining out with a spouse or friend, or just enjoying some peace and quiet.
Our trusted and caring FBCT childcare workers and volunteers will engage your children with fun, age-appropriate Christmas activities, ensuring they’re well taken care of while you’re out.

From classic tabletop games to video games and more, kids will play their way through VBS while learning that Jesus guides them through all the twists and turns of their lives. They’ll find that even when they mess up it’s never “game over.”

Join us on Friday, Dec 10 from 6-9pm for Christmas Parents Night Out. PNO is a great opportunity to do some Christmas shopping, go on a date night, meet with friends or fellowship with your Connect group. Preschoolers will enjoy Christmas themed crafts, games and more while learning the true meaning of Christmas. KIDS will have special activities for our 1st-5th grade children.

If you have never been to Trunk or Treat at FBCT, you may be wondering what the excitement is all about. With inflatables, candy, food, photo ops and so much more, Trunk or Treat is an event for the entire family.
Come join your community, your neighbors, your friends for an evening of laughter and games in a family friendly, safe and secure environment. Trunk or Treat happens rain or shine but please remember, no scary costumes.

On August 8, 2021, during the Outdoor Back to School Event from 4-6pm, we will be presenting each Entering Kindergarten preschooler with a Bible. The time is officially here to celebrate the growth of our children this year! On Sunday morning, August 8th, all preschoolers, kids, and students promote to their new Connect Group Classes during 9:00am Connect Groups. All preschoolers should receive a Promotion Card in the mail and return the complete card on Sunday, August 8th.
Moms and Dads, Promotion Sunday is also the perfect time for you to get connected in a small group Bible study class on Sunday mornings. Visit a Connect Center located outside the sanctuary today to learn more.

ENTERING KINDERGARTEN BIBLE CEREMONY
Entering Kindergarten is a special time in the life of a child and their family. We want to recognize and pray for our preschoolers who will be entering Kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year. On August 25, 2019, during the 9:45 Sunday morning hour, we will have a Bible Ceremony to present them with a Bible. Register your child online to participate in this special time of celebration.

4th Annual Family Fish Fry Fellowship
Sunday August 4th at 6pm immediately following the Collective Night of Praise, we're celebrating our Fish Fry Fellowship with dinner together as a church family. Tickets are $5 a person and will be purchased at the following times:

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service | December 24 | 5:00pm
